Kristi House also provides the Stewards of Children Training to adults in businesses, child-centered organizations and other community groups. This sexual abuse prevention training program educates adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. More about Stewards of Children.
In addition to direct prevention education, Kristi House is striving to lead the community response to child sexual abuse prevention through advocacy, and a leadership role in the community collaborating with organizations that share our goals.

abused. Therefore, it is important to watch for any

Community Fairs
Kristi House regularly participates in community fairs,
expos, and special events.
Neighborhoods
Sant La Haitian Community Center in Miami, Florida serves
as the primary resource center in the Haitian community.
A grant from the Public Health Trust Foundation enables
Kristi House to provide the community a bi-lingual Creole-fluent
representative to conduct sexual abuse prevention trainings,
church outreach, and media interviews on a weekly basis.
Additionally, services to clients are available at the
Sant La Center, home, school, or community setting.
School Programs Child Victim Rapid Response Program (CVRR)
Through the CVRR Kristi House annually reaches over
2000 students. The program educates children on abuse
prevention, harassment, domestic violence and teen dating
violence. Students are taught age-appropriate safety
skills and services are coordinated with the school
guidance counselor and provided to any student that
requests follow up. In addition, school personnel and
parents are taught how to identify and report abuse.
The program was jointly funded by the
State of Florida and the Department of Education.
