Kristi House opened the Orlowitz-Lee Children’s Advocacy Center at its main location in 1999 at 1265 NW 12 Avenue in Miami. It is centrally located in the health and judicial district (formerly known as the Civic Center area), on the edge of the University of Miami medical campus and across from the State Attorney’s Office.
Two satellite offices in the southern and northern ends of Miami-Dade County were opened in 2006 and 2007 to serve more therapy clients in locations closer to their neighborhood. The Project GOLD Drop-in Center was located at its residential location in Miami in January 2014 to serve the needs of commercially sexually exploited children in Miami-Dade County.
Kristi House invites you to “come for coffee” to see our facility first-hand and learn more about what we do in our quest to treat and end child sexual abuse. We conduct informal, overview tours with Executive Director Claudia Kitchens. Please contact us to find a time convenient for you and any of your friends or associates who might be interested. Send an email to Kristi House’s Director of Community Relations Natalie Brown.
