This group therapy program has proven, research-based, positive outcomes and takes place at centrally located, child-friendly Kristi House.

Pathways for Strong Families
Children Ages 7-15 with Sexual Behavior Problems

This prevention program targets children who have acted out sexual behavior problems but have not been involved with the Juvenile Justice system. The program provides group therapy for both the parent(s) and group sessions for the children with identified school, behavior, family and/or substance abuse problems to help reduce the likelihood of further problems.

  • Meets once a week on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
  • 12-week program
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • For children 7 to 15 years old, both those in treatment and those who have not received treatment
  • Participants receive incentives and certificates of participation.
  • On-site child care will be available for non-participating siblings during the evening sessions.

The Kristi House mission is to provide a healing environment for child victims of sexual abuse and their families through community collaboration and system coordination. Kristi House is dedicated to respecting, protecting and healing the children and families who pass through our doors.
